Rail Infrastructure Induction – TLI Induction Skill Set

The units of competency covered in this course are:

TLIF0025 Follow Work Health and Safety Procedures
TLIB0012 Maintain and Use Hand Tools
TLID0020 Shift Materials Safely Using Manual Handling Methods
TLIF2062 Apply Awareness of Safeworking Rules and Regulations

At the successful completion of this course you will be able to:

Interpret and apply the applicable safeworking rules and protocols
Recognise and report unsafe situations
Follow safe working instructions and procedures
Take appropriate safety precautions
Follow workplace procedures for hazard identification and risk control
Contribute to arrangement for the management of Occupational Health and Safety
Complete WH&S records
Select and use Hand tools to complete workplace tasks
Maintain basic hand tool in accordance with manufactures instructions
Secure and store Hand tools in accordance with workplace
Assess the risks associated with manual handling activities
Plan the safe conduct of manual handling activities
Safely carry out manual handling activities in accordance with the plan.

Course Outcome	On successful completion of this course you will be awarded a statement of attainment for TLIF0025 Follow Work Health and Safety Procedures, TLIB0012 Maintain and Use Hand Tools, TLID0020 Shift Materials Safely Using Manual Handling Methods and TLIF2062 Apply Awareness of Safeworking Rules and Regulations
